THIS MONTH'S GUEST BELGIAN DRAUGHTS. St Louis Krieg (3.2%) Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck, Oostrozebekestraat 43, Ingelmunster, Belgium. Premium Kriek is a beer made from traditional Gueuze Lambic, to which 25 per cent of fresh black cherry juice and natural sugar is added. A clear, dark red beer is obtained with a pink head. With an alcohol content of only 3.2 per cent and its fruity character, this is a truly tempting tipple, when drunk young or old. The elegantly-shaped glass reinforces the image and symbolizes the natural charm of this full-bodied Kriek. Belgoo luppo (6.6%) Belgoobeer, Faubourg Saint Paul 38, B-7130 Binche, Belgium. A unique top fermented 4 grains craft beer. The main ingredients barley malt, wheat malt, Oats, German Wheat (triticum spelta) and Saaz hops. It is a 100% natural, non-filtered beer which, when poured in, gives a turbid white look to the beer. Belgoo Magus is, like all Belgoo beers, a "living" beer due to a last fermentation in the bottle by adding yeast just before bottling. Gouden Carolus Classic (8.5%) Brouwerij Het Anker, Guido Gezellelaan 49, Mechelen, 2800, Belgium. "The Emperor's Beer". Brewed with top fermentation and bottle conditioning following traditional methods. Its high gravity (O.G. 1080-85) combines the warmth of wine and the freshness of beer. Gouden Carolus is one of the strongest and most exciting beers in the world. After lengthy maturing and conditioning, it is bottled unfiltered, giving a beer which is rich in vitamins and 100% natural. Gouden Carolus has unlimited storage (it even improves with age) and will charm you with its warm coppery colour and its rich bouquet.
Sharp's Brewery, Rock, Cornwall. Sharp's Own (4.4%)Rich roasted and malty notes are key to the aroma of Own with some light hop tones. The mouthfeel is one full of malty sweetness complimented by a good measure of hop bitterness. The finish which is sweet and malty is lingering but not satiating. From the Hogs Back Brewery, Tongham, Surrey. HBB (3.7%) a light amber session bitter, biscuity flavour with fragrant hops leading to subtle malty citrus fruits with a long, aromatic, hoppy finish with a light malty aftertaste.

W.J.King & Co, Foundry Lane, Horsham, West Sussex. Red River (4.8%) a dark ruby red colour. A full bodied, premium stregth bitter ale with a slightly sweet finish.
Vale Brewery,Tramway Business Park, Brill, Buckinghamshire. Grumpling Premiun (4.6%) a well malted, premiun , ruby red ale.
Banks and Taylor, the Brewery, St Francis way, Shefford, Bedfordshire. Five Hop Bitter (4.1%) a delicious pale beer with a wonderful floral nose. Brewed with Challenger, Goldings, Bramling Cross, cascade and Fuggles hops.

Sharp's Brewery, Rock, Cornwall. Sharp's Red Ale (4.1%) is brewed from an all-malt grist including amber malt for biscuit character, crystal rye for an intense red colour and a real depth of flavour. The hops are the classic English variety Northdown for bittering and the beautifully fruity Cluster hop from the US for aroma. Maturation over Cornish oak gives the beer a wonderfully rounded flavour and adds an earthy note in the mouth.
W.J.King & Co, Foundry Lane, Horsham, West Sussex. Autumn Missed (4.2%) an amber ale, brewed withy a high proportion of crystal and wheat malts giving a smooth flavour. Two Malt Brew (5.2%) a dark amber beer. Brewed with crystal and pale ale malts. A full flavoured, satisfying strong ale. Ghost Blaster (5.1%) a premuim Strength light coloured bitter brewed with a high proportion of wheat malt to give a lovely light crisp flavour. Strong in alcohol and well hopped with Amarillo and Goldings to give a hoppy nose and aroma. Old Ale (4.5%) award winning Autumn/Winter Beer brewed with a complex blend of dark malts and malted wheat, with bitterness derived from choicest Kent Hops. No artificial additives or preservatives are used. The beer has a slightly smoky aroma and a smooth velvety flavour. A classic dark Ale. Harvest Ale (4.1%) a light amber ale brewed with new seasons goldings hops straight from the bine.

Vllage Idiot (4.1%) lightly coloured golden beer well hopped with a lasting fruity aftertaste. Wayland Smiddy (4.4%) red like the fire at its heart and balanced with bucket loads of aromatic hops.
Titanic Brewery Co Ltd, Unit 5 Callender Place, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Engine room (4.6%) a bittersweet amber beer.

Leeds Brewery, 3 Sydenham Road, Leeds, Yorkshire. Gathering Storm (4.1%) traditional stout. A combination of dark roasted malts and subtle hops give this robust stout a rich finish. Midnight Bell (4.8%) a premium dark mild. Crystal and chocolate malts combine to give a full bodied, complex character to this award winning ale.

The Ramsbury Brewery, Priory Farm, Axford, Marlborough, Wiltshire. Flint Knapper (4.2%) a blend of pale optic and chocolate malt giving that rich amber colour producing a taste with malty overones. The smooth hoppy characteristic is produced by the use of goldings hops. Ramsbury Gold (4.5%) a rich golden coloured beer produced by blending optic malt, crystal malt and a small amount of torrified wheat. Added to this are goldings and styrian golding hops which give that distinctly light hoppy aroma and taste.
Tryst Brewery, Lorne Road, Larbert, Forth Valley, Falkirk, Scotland. Caronade IPA (4.2%) packed full of citrus flavours from the distinctive Washington state hops used, combined with pale malt and Carron valley water to create a real thirst- quenching treat. Named after the Carronade cannon. Affectionally known as ' the smasher' by the gun crews of Nelsons navy due to its devastating effect against the wooden ships of the time. Developed from a design dating back to the second half of the eighteenth century by Carron Iron company of Falkirk.
